Information for Donors: How You Can Participate in the Derby Community Foundation • Establish a charitable fund bearing your name to provide for your favorite charitable organization or cause, both today and beyond your lifetime. • Establish a memorial or scholarship fund in honor or memory of a loved-one to provide support for a particular area of interest. • Contribute to the Derby Community Foundation Operating Endowment allowing the Foundation to serve the community into the future. • Contribute to any existing fund. Following are some existing funds: ~Community Enrichment Grant Program (to receive an application form contact the Foundation by emailing your request to admin@derbycf.org) ~Greenscapers ~Kermit Daum Scholarship ~Ada Thoma Memorial Scholarship (open to any graduating, USD 260 senior who plans to major in education; to receive an application form contact the DHS Counselor's Office or email your request to admin@derbycf.org) • Encourage your favorite charity to establish an organization fund to provide ongoing support for their work. • Tell your friends about the Derby Community Foundation and the services we provide. |
